All the information on transport and parking for the launceston running festival.

transport information

How to get there?

We recommend walking (if possible) or car sharing to get you to the start line on Sunday 12 June 2022.

Given the COVID-19 restrictions, we also ask that you arrive ready to run, with your timing bib (which you can collect the day before) no more than 20minutes before your event starts.

Driving & Parking Information

It is important to note that there will be road closures in place on event day and that street parking in Launceston CBD is very limited (and fees apply).

The vacant block on Lindsay Street, opposite the Silo Hotel will be available for overflow parking. However restrictions will be in place in terms of coming and going. So if you want to make a quick getaway, we recommend parking in the city and walking across through Seaport. It's a lovely short warm up. Please do not park in the Bunnings/JB HiFi/Officeworks carpark, unless you are also purchasing from them on the day.
